Refund Policy

The Short Version
Money we have not yet spent on your behalf, and work we have not yet done, can be refunded. Money already paid to a government authority cannot, because the authority does not return it to us.
Government Fees
Once a fee has been paid to the Department of Economic Development, a free zone authority, immigration, a typing centre, a medical centre or any other government body, it is non-refundable. This applies even if the application is later withdrawn or rejected.
If a government fee has been collected from you but not yet paid onward, it is refunded to you in full.
Our Service Fee
Before we begin work, our service fee is refundable in full.
Once work has begun, we refund the portion covering work not yet carried out. We will show you what has been completed and what that leaves.
Once the licence, visa or document you engaged us for has been issued, the service fee is not refundable. The service has been delivered.
If an Application Is Rejected
A rejection is not automatically a refund. If the rejection resulted from an error on our part, we correct and resubmit at our own cost. If it resulted from incorrect or incomplete information supplied to us, or from the authority exercising its discretion, government fees are lost and our fee for the work already done stands.
How to Request a Refund
Email info@shamaeluae.com with your name, the service concerned and your receipt or reference number. We will respond within seven working days with a written breakdown of what is refundable.
Approved refunds are paid by the original payment method within 14 working days of agreement.
Package Purchases
Business setup packages are bundles of separately-priced components. If you cancel part-way, we unbundle the package and refund on the basis of the components not yet delivered, not on a flat pro-rata of the package price.
